Purpose of Guide: How to move completed PS Survey files to computer to import via Mobile From Disk method in Field Computer Receive in PCS.
Note: Survey needs to be exported in PCS FDC first to correctly proceed with this guide.
- Connect device to computer.
- Navigate to File Explorer on Computer and Locate Device, Select Internal Shared Storage.
Note: Device name can look different as each company might edit name of devices. - From Internal Shared Storage navigate to Android > data > com.aiworldwide.aim > files > PS.
- Once in PS folder navigate to Completed folder and copy Survey folder(s).
Note: Survey Folder and separate PSX file will typically be seen in completed folder, it is recommended you copy Survey Folder without PSX file, as same PSX file will be found in folder. Example image below.
Note: If PSX file doesn't appear in Completed folder, please reference (AI KB) How to Create Export Periodic Survey File from FDC for PCS Import (Mesa3/AX) to create PSX file for survey. - Ensure Survey folder(s) are placed in directory PCS is pointing to.
Example: Image below shows the directory that PCS is pointing to. - PS Survey files now ready to import into PCS.
