(AI KB) Field Data Collector - Downgrade to 1.17 from Newer Version

Purpose: This workaround allows users to downgrade from PCS Field Data Collector 2.X back to version 1.17 Update. An APK file for Field Data Collector v1.17.

1. Back up the current survey data to the SD Card by tapping the icon and selecting Disaster
   Recovery.
   
   
   
2. Uninstall the current version of PCS Field Data Collector
   
   1. Press and hold the FDC icon
      
      
   2. Select 'App Info'
      
      
      
      
   3. Tap Uninstall
      
      
      
      
   4. Download the 1.17 APK file

      Note: Android may be configured to disallow installation of APK files from the default
      downloads directory. If a message appears saying "There was an error parsing the package",
      try moving the apk file to a different folder and attempt the install again. 
      
      
   5. When the download is complete, tap Open and follow the installation prompts:
      
      
      
      
      
      
      
      
   6. Grant the Android permissions requested by Field Data Collector
      
      
      
   7. Log in to PCS Field Data Collector and verify the version number in the About screen shows
      1.17 (Cog icon > About)
      
      
      
      
   8. Restore the current survey data to the SD Card by tapping the icon and selecting Disaster
      Recovery.
