(AI KB) Mesa 3 EC Firmware Update

Purpose: To show how to install the EC Firmware update. The firmware update is for the battery firmware to improve charging and battery performance.

1. 1. The EC firmware is for the battery firmware and is not part of the system update. The EC firmware update will appear in the notifications in the Mesa.

      
      
      
      
   2. Since the batteries will be turned off during the update a wall charger and power USB-C cable will need to be plugged in to complete the update.
      Important Note: If the update is run without the USB-C the Mesa will turn off and will not power on till a wall charger and power USB-C cable is plugged in.
      
      
   3. While the mesa is unlocked swipe down on the screen to pull up the notifications and click on the arrow to see full notification and click update.
      
      
      
      
      
      
   4. Wait till the update is finished.
      
      
      
      
      
      Now the charger can be removed and the Mesa can be used normally
