(KB AI) Mesa3 Shows Up As a Device But Is Not Accessible Through File Explorer

This guide will outline steps to enabling File Transfer mode for Mesa3, allowing computer to see files for device in File Explorer when connected.

Note: Device needs Developer options enabled before proceeding through steps in guide, if unsure please run through (AI KB) Enabling Developer Mode on Mesa3 to confirm Developer options enabled.

1. Navigate to Settings on Mesa3.
   
   
   
2. In Settings, scroll down and select System.
   
   
   
3. In System, select Advanced and Developer options.
   
   
   
4. In Developer options scroll down and select Default USB Configuration.
   
   
   
5. Now select File Transfer and now your Computer can access Mesa3 files from File Explorer.
   
   
   6. If still unable to access Mesa3 files please confirm with your IT that computer has permissions to do so. If computer has permissions please reach out to Technical support for further assistance.
