This is meant to show how PCS determines if a Test Point meets the 100mV shift criteria.
Please Note: you need a Native P/S reading within the range your PCS Admin has set for this calculation to work.
- If the Structure IRF has been recorded, it will calculate it against the Effective Native and only use the 100mV shift criteria.
- The Target Structure P/S is used to determine if the reading passes criteria only when there is not a Structure IRF included with the current reading.
- The Effective IR Correction and Target Structure P/S are carried forward until a new On/Off pair are collected. Then it will be recalculated and carried forward.

PCS Inspection Records Data Grid Screenshot above with examples.
PCS System Field Calculation:
Target Structure P/S = Native P/S – 0.100 – | Structure P/S – Structure IRF |
Example
-.406 – 0.100 - | -1.000 – -0.700 |
= -0.506 – 0.300
= -0.806
