Introduction: This Article is related to the User Management & Roles of Survey Manger/PCS FDC
Portal (Link Below) is our user management site for Survey Management/Field Data Collector that is used by company admins to manage their users.

Note: Portal uses your Survey Manager/Field Data Collector Credentials
Adding New User:
- Login to Portal Using your Survey Manager (SM)/Field Data Collector Credentials (FDC)
- Navigate to 'User Management' Tab
- Click Create or Modify
- Select New User
Roles Information/Details:

The Admin level allows a user full control to modify/create/delete users that have the lower role levels and also have full access to Survey Manger functions. Note: Survey Manger must be purchased to be able to access functions
- Admins have access to the User Management tab where users permissions can modified, created, or deleted.
- By using the Create or Modify button the admin can create a new user or by selecting a user in the search drop down list can modify or delete user.
- Admins can reset a user password within users profile by pressing reset password, above delete user, to have an email sent to the user with a temporary password.
- Admins can deactivate an user account instead of delete so can be reactivated later instead of recreating the account by clicking the permissions pencil and unchecking the active checkbox and pressing the confirm button.
- Admins can reset their passwords in the security tab and see their own user details .
Note: A new users can only created if there is a seat remaining if see "FDC 5 of 5" then all seats have been used if see "FDC 3 of 5" then this indicates that 2 seats remain.
- Admins have full access to Survey manger features including add and removing surveys, creating reports, access to snapview, editing other non-admin sidebar access.
- Admins have access to the User Management tab where users permissions can modified, created, or deleted.

Manager is a Survey Manager only user role that can create tech and read-only users and dependent on the sidebar permissions granted by the admin can set the new techs/read-only user access level.
- Dependent on the permissions granted by the admin, mangers can access reports, snap view, and add and remove surveys.
- In portal managers only has access to user details tab and security tab. Mangers can reset their password in the security tab.
- Dependent on the permissions granted by the admin, mangers can access reports, snap view, and add and remove surveys.
- Tech is a Survey Manger only role that only has access to surveys that Admin/Mangers have given sidebar access to.
- Dependent on permissions granted by admin, techs can access reports, snap view, and add and remove surveys.
- In portal techs only has access to user details tab and security tab. Techs can reset their password in the security tab.

Read-Only is a Survey Manger only role that only can view surveys that a admin/manger has given access to and cannot modify any data.

Mobile is a PCS FDC only role but can be combined with any other role to give user access to any other level.
- FDC is to give access PCS FDC on Mesa tablets, IOS and windows devices.
- FDC seats can be assigned to other role levels by giving that role mobile permissions.
- In FDC users only has access to user details tab and security tab. FDC users can reset their password in the security tab.
- FDC users can only access Survey Manger if are tied to one of the other 4 roles.
