(AI KB) Factory Reset Mesa 3 Through BIOS

Purpose of Guide: To reset the device through BIOS due to lock out from unknown Password/PIN

1. Turn off the Mesa 3 Android tablet
   
   
2. Hold the tablet in Portrait Mode
   
   
3. Press and hold the Up Arrow and shortly press and hold Power Button to initiate process.
   
   Note: Remain pressing and holding Up Arrow after letting go of Power Button until you see powered by android screen.
   
   
4. Now you will see the No Command Screen, press and hold the Power Button and shortly press and hold the Right Arrow to progress to the next screen.
   
   
   
   
5. You will now be at the Android Recovery Screen, Navigate and select wipe data/factory reset from the list.
   
   Note: To navigate through the list use the Right and Left Arrow, Keypad buttons and to select from the list use the Power Button.
   
   
   
   
6. After selecting wipe data/factory reset you will be redirected to below screen, highlight and select Factory data reset.
   
   
   
   
7. Once complete you will see below message on the bottom left of screen and be redirected to Android Recovery screen.
   
   
   
   
8. Now navigate to and select Reboot system now, the device will reboot and could take a few minutes.
   
   
9. You have now successfully factory reset your Mesa 3.
