Purpose: Walkthrough on resolving error, "The selected Product Key is already in use" when launching PCS.
Causes:
- User didn't release license prior to migrating to a new device
- PCS License file was corrupted
- Not Enough Seats Available on the License
- Ensure that the Product Key has been released from the previous user Device prior to migrating devices.
- If issue persists - ensure that there are enough seats on the license key to accommodate the new user. (If Uncertain - Contact AI Support with your License Key)
- If License does not have available seats, users will need to be removed to make availability or additional license seats need to be purchased.
- If issue persists - after validating seat counts, there may be an issue with the license file on the device.
Close PCS complete and locate and delete the license file.
