(AI KB) PCS: How to import CI survey from disk

Introduction: This is how to import a completed CIS .SVY file into PCS

1. 1. Launch PCS
       

   2. Navigate to Field Computer->Receive.
      
      
      
      

   3. If in PCS 2.5 or above select 'Allegro QX/MX from Disk' and 'Receive Indirect Survey Data'
      If in PCS 2.4 or below select 'Allegro from Disk' and 'Receive Indirect Survey Data'
      
      
      
      
      
      
   4. Select the three dot button next to Input Directory and select the folder that the SVY file(s) are in
      
      
      
      
      
   5. Click on 'Retrieve Data'
      .
      
      
      
      
   6. Select the Survey Type and Survey you would like to Import
      
      
      
      
   7. If the Survey is a Native Survey check the Native check box then press on the pencil to assign survey to the hierarchy code.
      
      
      
      
      
      Note: If a hierarchy code is not assigned will default to the name of the survey. If there is not a hierarchy code matching the name of the survey, it will create a new hierarchy code in the new section of the hierarchy.
      
      
   8. Click import to import to import the survey.
