(AI KB) Close Interval Survey- Will Not Record New Readings- Ascending Vs. Decending

If you start a CI survey, but your readings are not being recorded, check the Direction setting.

Follow these instructions to check the Direction settings. 

Note: If Direction is set to descending, then you will need to create a new file and set it to ascending.

To check direction settings:

1. Tap the Folder Icon, then tap Properties

2.  Check the direction setting.  Ascending is used when moving from a lower value milepost and working to a higher value milepost.  Descending is for starting at a higher value milepost and working towards zero.
